80's

In the 80's the punk era began. Load obnoxious colors were all over. Also the 80’s brought on a sense of not caring about appearance. Younger adults during this era used colors in homes such as neon colors, floral, and an overload of pinks. For the older adults black and whites were being used with a muted color. The choice of color was very soothing and comforting. This is quite a difference from the youth’s choice of colors. This is because the adults of this decade were the baby boomer's who went through a time of peace and war that was in the 60's and 70's.
